School
Did you know that Min-hyun is an alum of School of Performing Arts Seoul? He attended this school when he was still a trainee. Some of the notable graduates of the school are RED VELVET'S JOY and the stunning Bae Suzy.
NU'EST
He debuted as part of the K-pop group NU'EST in March 2012. The other members of the phenomenal quintet are JR, Aron, Baekho, and Ren. Do you still remember their debut single 'Face?'
Survival reality show
Min-hyun joined season two of the reality show 'Produce 101.' He made it to the Top 11 and became part of the group Wanna One. After performing with the idol group for one and half year, he returned to NU'EST in 2019.
Theater actor
Sharpening his skills as a performer, he was cast in the show 'Marie Antoinette'. His performance as Count Axel Von Fersen earned him the Best New Actor recognition in the Stagetalk Audience Choice Awards.

Following the disbandment of NU'EST in March 2022, Hwang Min-hyun embarked on a solo career as an idol and actor under Pledis Entertainment. He made his official solo debut in February 2023 with the release of his first mini-album Truth or Lie.
