Former Pinoy MTV Asia VJs: Where are they now?
Almost everyone who grew up in the '90s surely knows how MTV Asia used to be a measure of cool and hip back in the day. Aside from fresh music videos, fashion and beauty features, avid viewers of the popular channel also always look forward to seeing its witty VJs who read fans' requests and presented hot music video countdowns.
Among these MTV Asia VJs are local celebrities who have also been part of this pop culture. Find out what are they up to now in this gallery:
Regine Tolentino
Before we knew her as the dance diva, Regine debuted on television as the first Filipino MTV Asia VJ in 1997. Fast forward to today, she is now an accomplished mother, business woman, dancer, host, endorser, actress and fashion designer.
Complete woman
After her marriage to actor Lander Vera Perez ended, Regine found love again in her current Dondi Narciso, with whom she has daughter named Rosie Reignee.
KC Montero
KC was one of the most memorable faces of MTV Asia. After winning the VJ hunt with Belinda Panelo in 1999, he immediately hosted MTV Most Wanted and MTV Jams. He has also made musical collaborations in the past doing mostly rap parts in songs. After he left in 2007, he focused on his acting and local hosting career.

The former MTV VJ also had himself involved in a string of high profile relationships. He was formerly married to singer-actress Geneva Cruz. After their marriage ended in 2010, he got into a relationship with actress Rhian Ramos.
Now he is married to beauty queen Stephanie Dods and together, they have one child Wyatt Cody Miller.

Now based in the US West Coast, G started taking her graduate studies at the Antioch University in Los Angeles in 2019 and finished it just last year right in the middle of the pandemic. She is now married to Tim Walters and together they have two children.
Belinda Panelo
Belinda Panelo first made name when she appeared in a soda commercial. Then, she became known as one of the wackiest and funniest female VJs of MTV Asia. She left MTV sometime in 2003 and got married to longtime boyfriend Joseph Lizardo.
Life after MTV
She also made some acting stints in movies and television shows before she decided to migrate in the US.
Actress-mother-chef
Back then, Donita has already established herself as one of the most sought-after youngstars of her generation. This fresh-faced girl had her stint at doing comedy when she joined defunct sitcom Ober da Bakod and its movie adaptations.
