IN PHOTOS: Get to know Anjo Damiles

Earlier this year, Kapuso hunk actor Joseph Roland Beltran Damiles, also known as Anjo Damiles, revealed that he's now doing better after battling with depression and anxiety.

“I was diagnosed with severe anxiety last year,” he said.

“It's hard to explain when it comes to mental health. It suddenly breaks you down into two,” Anjo added.

Anjo also shared that he was so grateful to those who helped him overcome his situation.

“I was crying, I was lost. It's hard to find yourself...With the help of my psychiatrist, my medicine, I calmed down. God also never let my mind,” he disclosed.

The Kapuso actor also emphasized that God was really the one who helped him a lot to conquer everything.

“God was really the one who helped me… He answers everything. I had blessings in front of me whenever I call and pray. He shows it to my face that, 'Here, this is for you. You don't have to feel that way anymore. I'm listening to your prayers. I'm always here,” Anjo said.

Aside from being an actor, the Kapuso hunk is also a commercial model and brand ambassador. In his journey as a Kapuso actor, Anjo starred in many GMA series including the 'First Yaya' top-billed by Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion. This November 2021, Anjo will be part of GMA Afternoon Prime series titled 'Stories from the Heart: Love On Air' as the love interest of young comedienne Kiray Celis.
