Kris Aquino celebrates birthday with family and friends on Valentine's Day
Despite the obstacles she's facing on her journey to recovery, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino continues to find strength and resilience as she celebrates her birthday on Valentine's Day.
On Instagram, the Filipina celebrity gave her followers a peek into her heartwarming birthday celebration with her closest friends and family. The intimate gathering was filled with love and laughter, and Kris was spoiled with thoughtful gifts from her loved ones. She was also surprised with a special birthday cake, carried by her sons, Josh and Bimby.
In her post, Kris took a moment to express her gratitude. " I want to thank all my friends for taking time to greet me last night (asalto) and my friends from OC, who flew in," she wrote. "But above all- I thank you for being with me, Kuya Josh, and Bimb during my journey towards recovery."
Her fans and fellow celebrities flooded the comment section with warm wishes. Stars like Diana Zubiri-Smith, Vina Morales, and Chef Jacqueline Juarez Laudico sent their greetings. Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera added a sweet message, "Happy birthday Ninang" with a heart emoji.

Last year, Kris returned to the Philippines for her second round of immunosuppressant treatment. The moment she reunited with her sons was filled with overwhelming joy, being apart for a couple of months since her two children returned first to the country from Los Angeles.
