Meet 'Sang'gre' heartthrob Kelvin Miranda
Kelvin Miranda is undeniably one of the fastest-rising Kapuso stars.
He first gained nationwide acclaim by playing the role of Mark Sta. Maria in the Netflix original 'Dead Kids.'
Now, he is ready to play various roles that will further challenge his mettle as an actor.
In his few years in showbiz, he attested that he got what it takes to be GMA's new lead actor.
Kelvin's acting skills were recognized twice by Urduja Heritage Film Awards.
In 2019, Kelvin received his first Best Actor Award in the 6th Urduja Film Festival.
He was acknowledged for his performance in the indie film, 'The Fate.'
At the beginning of 2021, Kelvin received another acting award.
He got the Best Young Actor award in the 7th Urduja Heritage Film Awards. This time, Kelvin was recognized for his act as Mark Sta. Maria in 'Dead Kids.'
Kelvin acknowledged everyone he worked with when he received his award. "Hindi naman po mangyayari 'yun kung hindi dahil sa mga katrabaho ko. Nagtiwala sila sa akin. Mula producer, direktor, hanggang sa kadulu-duluhan ng produksyon ay talaga namang ramdam ang suporta sa isa't isa.
“Malaki ang pasasalamat ko para doon."
According to the actor, he is grateful for how the year started for his career.
"Masaya po ako dahil maganda ang salubong sa akin ng 2021. Bukod sa 'The Lost Recipe,' na-appreciate po ng mga tao ang pelikula namin pinamagatang 'Dead Kids,'" Kelvin said.
The actor made his fans more in love with him when he became part of the newest Kapuso drama, 'Stories from the Heart: Loving Miss Bridgette.'
