Nora Aunor named ‘Alagad ng Sining ng Mamamayan’

Last August 18, Superstar Nora Aunor was recognized by the Quezon City Public School Teachers Association and the Alliance of Concerned Teachers as "Alagad ng Sining ng Mamamayan."

Superstar Nora Aunor was recognized by teachers as "Alagad ng Sining ng Mamamayan" last August 18. The Quezon City Public School Teachers Association and the Alliance of Concerned Teachers gave her the esteemed recognition.
 
The iconic actress became emotional when students serenaded her and gave her flowers. They also presented a skit about the life and times of Nora Aunor in showbiz.
 
The Superstar said, “Naramdaman ko ‘yung ginagawa nila kasi kaya ako naiyak, sapagkat naalala ko noong araw, noong nag-aaral pa rin ako. Parang nakita ko ‘yung sarili ko sa kanila.”
 
Fresh from her Cinemalaya Best Actress win in Hustisya, Nora Aunor will be starring in the psycho-drama film, Dementia with Chynna Ortaleza, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Jeric Gonzales, Yul Servo and Bing Loyzaga this September.
