Karel Marquez was romantically linked to Jeremy Marquez, the son of comedian/politician Joey Marquez. She confirmed in an interview that they were indeed going out. Jeremy, later on, became engaged to 'Bubble Gang' comedienne Gwen Zamora but the wedding did not push through and the two has since parted ways.
Karel is now married to Sean Fariñas and has welcomed their first child Kobe. Karel has two other children from a previous relationship, Keiley and Kyler.
