New 'inclusive' club in Quezon City draws celebrities, night owls, and drag enthusiasts

By Gabby Reyes Libarios
Rampa Drag Club is QC's new safe space for those who want to watch amazing drag performances and hang out with their friends without fear of being judged.

There's a new hangout for the LGBTQIA+ community and fans of drag performances in Quezon City, and its name will resonate with anyone who likes marching to the beat of his own drum (or seeing the world as her own runway): Rampa Drag Club.

Located on Eugenio Lopez Drive in Barangay South Triangle in Quezon City, Rampa Drag Club opened its doors to the public in January 2024.

The club spans 800 square meters, and features a state-of-the-art stage design (including an LED backdrop and runway!) that makes any performance, drag or otherwise, a visual and aural overload.

More than being a place where people can watch drag performances, Rampa is open to all people looking for safe space where they can let their hair down, drink their favorite cocktail, laugh til their bellies hurt, make 'chika' with their friends til their ears bleed, without fear of being mocked or judged or discriminated.

Vice Ganda also paid Rampa a visit to check out the place and watch the performances.

Rampa Drag Club is being run by some of the most passionate LGBTQIA+ advocates and allies. Behind the rising club are businessman RS Francisco, Drag Race Philippines Season 1 Winner Precious Paula Nicole, Drag Race superstars Vinas de Luxe and Brigiding, musician Ice Seguerra, actress-producer Liza Diño-Seguerra, LGBTQIA+ advocate and businesswoman Cecille Bravo, and nightlife entrepreneur Loui Gene Cabel.
