Why did Maxine Medina decide to have two wedding rings?
Bride-to-be Maxine Medina is counting the days till her big day with her non-showbiz fiance, professional diving instructor Timmy Llana.
Set to exchange "I dos" next month, the couple is probably almost done with their wedding preparations, including choosing the perfect wedding rings.
In fact, Maxine chose to have two wedding bands--a shared prong diamond eternity band which she can wear during formal events and other occasions, and a classic stoneless metal band which she can wear on normal days. Timmy, on the other hand, opted for a matte band with polished edges as his wedding ring.
The couple also added a personal touch to the rings where their names are engraved on them.
In an Instagram video posted by Wedding Essentials Magazine, the Magandang Dilag actress shared, "Normally kasi eternity is forever, 'di ba? There's no end and, ano, beginning, right? So I go for this talaga pero since medyo delicate din 'yung bato, 'di ba, sometimes kapag naghuhugas ka ng pinggan or something or you're wearing your clothes, so I go for this (stoneless band) for normal days para lang meron akong symbol of, yeah, I'm married."
Maxine and Timmy will tie the knot first in a church on the first week of October, and at a beach wedding in Palawan the week after.
Among their guests are the Kapuso artist's co-stars in First Yaya.
Maxine and Timmy have been together since 2018 and got engaged in April 2022.
