Manolo Pedrosa took a leap of faith when he decided to leave his former network in July 2018 to become a Kapuso.

Bouncing back

One of the best qualities of GMA Artist Center heartthrob Manolo Pedrosa is that he knows how to bounce back after hitting rock bottom. According to his interview with Malaya Business Insight in 2019, he needed to be mentally strong after he got sidelined due to an injury, which led him to gain weight. He said then, “I was supposed to do surgery but I opted for a natural way. Nag research, habits, gym. In a way, I was forced. It took me years to get into this shape,”

Pressure

Instead of getting pressured about being groomed as one of the future leading men of GMA Network, Manolo uses this as a motivation.

“Kahit anong job naman siguro there's pressure, so ako naman I used it.

“I used that pressure as energy and same with Dave, I'm very grateful, I'm very honored to have this path, as having a passion for acting. Ako I'm just very grateful to have a role.” The actor will play Justin in the afternoon drama series 'Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat.'
