Michelle Dee continues work with autism organization
Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee continues to stay true to her advocacy for autism awareness as she continues to make plans with an organization working for that very same cause.
The Miss Universe Philippines organization posted several photos of Michelle Dee and officers of the Autism Society of the Philippines (ASP) on their Instagram account, writing in the caption that she is working for an #AutsimOKUniverse. The Autism Society of the Philippines is “a national non-profit dedicated to the well-being of Filipinos who live on autism spectrum and those who care for them.”
The meeting was held at Pancake House, Magallanes, which employs people on the autism spectrum as part of the Autism Works Campaign of the Autism Society of the Philippines.
This is just the latest collaboration that Michelle has made with the ASP as part of her “lifelong mission” of autism awareness. Just last month, Michelle shared a video of her and the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 taking part in an autism awareness seminar held before the organization's annual Angel's Walk.
A month before posting the video, Michelle posted multiple photos and a couple of videos of her at Autism Society Philippines' Angels Walk on her Instagram account.
Michelle also made sure that her autism awareness advocacy was also part of her Runway Challenge look. The modernized terno she wore during the challenge had a weave made out of different shades of green, red, and yellow. On her Instagram account, Michelle explained that these are the global and national colors for autism awareness.
Michelle first revealed her two siblings with autism, Mazen Marquez and Adam Lawyer, back in 2019. It was also back then that she called her autism advocacy a “lifelong mission.”
