Bea Alonzo and her mom Mary Anne show how they keep their farm, Beati Firma, environmentally friendly and cozy

In Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo's latest vlog, she and her mother Mary Anne Ranollo gave another tour of their farm, Beati Firma. The two showcased the newest developments on the farm and also how they observe sustainable practices.

Bea wrote in her YouTube vlog intro, "Happy 2023 BEAutiful people! Starting this year with a new Farm Tour update. There are so many things that we have been working on sa Beati Firma for the past months, and I'm excited to share these with you."

She continued, "I cannot reiterate enough how work in progress itong farm namin, just like ourselves, we have to work on ourselves to be better, ganun din sa farm namin."

Among the new features that Mary Anne worked on is a walking and running trail which connects the farm chapel and staff house, to their house.

Bea shared that her mom managed to repurpose or reuse many of her old belongings, as a way to avoid waste.

"Kahit 'yung mga dating dati ko pang gamit, magagawan niya ng paraan para ma-display dito sa farm. She doesn't like wasting stuff, even food," Bea said, referring to her mom.

Mary Ann also revealed some of the gifts she received from Bea's boyfriend, Dominic Roque. In one of their farm guest rooms, Mary Ann showed a painting hanging on the wall. "Guys, trivia, regalo ito ni Dominic Roque nung nililigawan niya pa lang si Bea." She also later on showed a number of candles, also given as presents by Dominic.

Bea proudly told the viewers how generous her mom is especially to the farm staff.

"Isa sa mga qualities na gusto ko kay Mama, is she really takes care of her staff. Makikita n'yo may bago na namang siyang staff house and maayos talaga 'yung condition sa loob."

Bea continued, "Natutuwa ako kay Mama na ganun niya kamahal niya ang staff niya."

Moreover, Bea and her mom have also included a small project within their farm to promote waste management and sustainability. Bea said, "We really promote sustainability so si Mama may bagong project. Nag-create siya ng segregation pit so may nabubulok, at meron ding mga things na puwede pang i-recycle or repurpose. We make sure the farm is really sustainable, and we really take care of the earth and make it more beautiful than how we found it. Kahit sa mga bahay kubo meron pa rin kaming mga solar panel."

She said, "Marami pa i-de-develop dito but we are doing it all together. We agreed on one thing, for it to be a better environment for the kids and all of us. This is going to be her legacy one day, and I'd like to give that to her."
