WATCH: You can now stream Barbie movies for free!
American toy company Mattel Inc. has rolled out the best of the best Barbie movies on their YouTube channel so you can watch it all absolutely for free.
It can be recalled that the company produced its first feature-length film titled Barbie in the Nutcracker in 2001 based on E.T.A. Hoffman's classic tale and featured music from Tchaikovsky's ballet.
After its success, it was then followed by several other Barbie films like Barbie as Rapunzel, Barbie of Swan Lake, and Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper.
The creation of these film series in the early 2000s benefitted the company's strategy as they found out that more girls are spending time online than physical dolls.
This then led to Mattell selling dolls specific to each film separately from the DVDs, merchandise, props, and so much more.

Over on Twitter, the hashtags “Barbie” and “Barbie movies” became trending on Philippine Twitter late last night as the company uploaded all full-length feature films.
One fan even mentioned, “Barbie movies are now on YouTube!!! K-drama who? Imma watch all Barbie movies again!”
