Fourteen years after his debut, Super Junior's Lee Donghae released his first single in collaboration with rapper BewhY.

The single, titled “Harmony,” was released in various music sites yesterday, February 23. It features traditional choir sounds and rich brass arrangements that some critics say fall under the “Black Gospel” genre.

Prior to its release, Donghae has been sharing updates on his latest project through social media and said that the song genuinely came from his heart.

As translated in English, “I've prepared something special for you guys. I worked on my music for this digital single. It's called 'Harmony.'

“Before I started working on this track, I wanted this individual to feature in it. I actually wasn't acquainted with him. I played the song and then asked without hesitation.

“With BewhY's help, I feel like we're able to bring great music to you guys.

“I'm excited and very nervous as well.”

Before his latest digital single, Donghae has been recognized for his singer-songwriting skills. He already has recorded a number of his own compositions with the group Super Junior. This includes tracks like “One More Chance,” “Rock Your Body,” “Growing Pains,” and “Danger.”

For his latest single, the Korean singer shares his unparalleled love to the Lord and how he praises Him for giving him strength and support.
