Heart Evangelista is an image of glam and fashion but the Queen of Creative Collaborations isn't also afraid to sweat it out.

Heart continues to inspire a lot of her followers, especially women as she opts to lead a healthier lifestyle. She actually beat herself to starting a New Year's resolution when she began running a few weeks before the end of 2018.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Heart shared how she, who was used to the hectic and almost sedentary life, keeps herself motivated.

She claims, “I really treasure my time here on earth. I'm very, very careful about my health. I'm also very anxious about any kind of sickness. It's not because I want to be thin, that's just a bonus. So I really work out because I want my blood circulation to be good. And the moment you realize that it's not just for the physical appearance but it's for your health, you really feel like you want to do it. It takes just a hard week to start and after that, it will be easy.

“Kaya ko pala. Kaya ko pala, 'coz I usually wake up at 11 A.M. but now I wake up at 4 A.M. I really feel like my days are longer and I feel really good about myself. No amount of expensive jackets can make me feel this good,” she also adds.

If you've been meaning to live an active life too, here are some tips and tricks that Heart does that might help you focus on your goal.

Make it a part of your routine.

Despite her busy schedule, Heart makes sure to make time to work out. While she admits that exercising may be challenging at times, she still commits to it. In fact, when she had engagements in China and Singapore, she still made sure to burn some calories.

Heart reveals, “There are days na nilalagnat ako, but I just don't break it. I walk, I don't run. You also need to be able to communicate with your body as long as you don't push it. But once you're there, don't let go of it.

Train with a buddy.

Getting started may truly feel overwhelming so Heart agrees that it's important to train with someone. You may seek professional help or find a training buddy who shares the same goals and mindset as you.

Heart says, “You really do need that extra push. So I think that's good if it's with a friend or with a trainer. Just go to a gym and there's always a trainer that will be there.”

Influence your mood.

Heart also recommends listening to music to set your mood and pace for your workout.

She emphasizes, “I do believe in that! I have Britney Spears' “Work It,” I have Dua Lipa and Black Pink. I have Chery Cole. I have my playlist for running.”

Look for little details that may add up to your excitement.

Heart has found a way to fuse her passion for fashion and her newfound love for working out. Well, it's hard to deny that a cute outfit helps you get your ass up to start your routine.

Heart says, “Just do it for two weeks if you promise to do it for two weeks. I swear you won't even buy any outfit after that. All of your existing outfits will feel so much better. It's really about working on the canvas than putting all these kinds of paint to cover it. You have to start with your basic, your physical and the rest will follow.”
