Heart Evangelista unveils Pinoy-themed hand-painted luxury bag
Leave it to Heart Evangelista to come up with an awesome creation that marries her love for fashion and art. Her latest masterpiece? A Filipino-themed artwork on a luxury bag that's perfect for Philippine Independence Day.
The Queen of Creative Collaborations just shared a photo of herself in a gorgeous white modern Filipiniana dress, carrying a white Louis Vuitton Capucine with her stunning Pinoy-themed painting on it.
The painting depicts a Pinay with long, dark hair wearing a Filipiniana dress, watching a man play a guitar.
Heart used the colors red and blue in the background, which are the same dominant colors of the Philippine flag.
The painting also gives a nod to one of the signature decorations that Pinoys use during fiestas: buntings or banderitas.
Plus, Heart also included her beloved aspin, Panda, in the artwork.
Heart recently made headlines when she announced that she has an upcoming art collaboration with Incubus vocalist and fellow painter, Brandon Boyd.
No details have been disclosed yet but fans and followers are eagerly waiting for it happen.
Heart is known to create amazing paintings on her luxury bags.
In one of her vlogs, she revealed that it all began when one of her prized luxury bags accidentally got stained with grease from food, while she was eating.
So, to salvage the bag, Heart thought of covering up the stain by painting over it.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
Aside from her own luxury bags, Heart has also painted on other celebrity's luxury bags, such as that of fellow Kapuso star, Carla Abellana.
