Lovi Poe jazzes up casual outfit with her favorite jewelry
There's nothing wrong with wearing jewelry at home.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of us stay at home in our casualwear.
However, this shouldn't stop people from feeling and looking good as a way to pamper themselves.
And one way to do it is by putting on your favorite jewelry to accessorize your normal-looking daily outfits.
Owe My Love actress Lovi Poe strongly encourages women to continue wearing their favorite pieces of jewelry even when at home.
"I wear Imono even if I'm just home. Parang a few pieces, they just boost my confidence.
"Parang when I go to shoots or step out of the house to run errands, I think it just gives me that extra oomph when I step out of the house.
"So even for casual wear, I stack on my bangles, my rings, and sometimes add my necklace or loop earrings," says Lovi who curated the spring-summer 2021 collection of Imono Jewelry.
During its virtual launch on Thursday, April 29, the actress-singer also stressed that jewelry can easily elevate any daily wear.
She said, "I think it's nice to have a signature piece. For myself, I always have this Imono piece with a cross.
"It's just nice to have a signature piece even if you're just at home.
"You know, it actually boosts your confidence. And if it gives you that extra elegant vibe even at home, why not?"
"Jewelry is very personal."
Imono's latest collection features charming and affordable pieces fit for the everyday lifestyle. The selection--consists of bangles, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings--aims to bring out inner strength needed for maintaining a fierce and proactive attitude.
According to Lovi, aside from her personal preferences, she also took into consideration what others would like to wear, especially on daily basis.
“I chose the designs in this collection based on what I look for in everyday jewelry.
"It has to be versatile so it can look good in any outfit for any occasion.
"It has to be elegant with refined details so it highlights the beauty of the person wearing it.
"It should also help bring out the best qualities in a person--it's an extension of what's within. Jewelry is very personal.
"For me, I wear Imono to remind myself of my own values so I can always exude inner-strength and confidence, even on the most challenging days."

As a style tip, Lovi said it's important to identify which you want to highlight when choosing accessories.
"You know, there are moments when I think, 'What should I emphasize now? Should I wear hoop earrings and not wear a necklace? Or should I wear a layered necklace and don't wear earrings at all?'
"It really depends on your outfit as well. It's your call at the end of the day."
She also stressed keeping a balance to avoid over-accessorizing.
"You know, whatever it is that you wanna accentuate."
"Like what I'm wearing right now is a tube top, so I really wanted to wear a layered necklace.
"I could actually wear big hoop earrings if I wanted to, but maybe I would have kept my necklace a little bit more simple.
"It's a balance of everything, but it really is your call."
In conclusion, she said, "At the end of the day, wearing jewelry is like fashion. It's a way of expressing yourself. It's really up to you."
