Ruru's latest passion for fashion started by finding a style icon, or rather, icons he can recreate.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, he says that the likes of “Ryan Gosling, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Noah Centineo are my pegs when it comes to style.”
“I tried combining their styles and started incorporating them on my own. Eventually, I realized that I absolutely loved what I'm wearing.”
Get comfortable with man jewelry and the power that comes with it.
The actor recommends that men should find a staple accessory they will feel comfortable wearing. In Ruru's case - these are rings.
“I feel like a king whenever I wear a ring.”
“There's just this instant boost of confidence within. I immediately feel that I can say 'hello' to anyone without feeling underdressed,” he says.

Your hair can be your best accessory so treat it well
The actor's hair is bringing back rom-com 90s hair. So how does he maintain those locks? A good old shower and a trip to the salon for a quick trim and sometimes, a hair spa.
He advices, “Men shouldn't be afraid to take care of themselves even when it comes to hair.”

Ruru admits that his passion for fashion is something that only recently sprouted. When he first started in show business, he usually dons a simple combo of t-shirt and jeans.
“Before, I was scared to try on clothes that aren't my style. But I realized that that shouldn't be my attitude.”

Like his style heroes, Ruru has a knack for breaking fashion rules. His secret to winging it? “Confidence,” he boldly answers.
“Men are scared to mix and match clothes. We often doubt ourselves - maybe it won't match? Or maybe it's uncool.”
“But in today's fashion, I believe you could wear whatever you want as long as you're confident.”
