Kapuso actress LJ Reyes caught netizens by surprise after she posted a series of new images taken during an outdoor pictorial in Brooklyn, New York.
Strong yet looking still vulnerable, the photos came as LJ's controversial breakup with longtime boyfriend Paolo Contis continues to hog showbiz headlines.
LJ confirmed the separation in an interview with Boy Abunda uploaded on YouTube on September 2. She refused, however, to go into details on what exactly led to the separation.
“Kasi matagal ko nang nararamdaman na parang nakahiwalay na siya sa amin. Ramdam na ramdam ko po 'yun. Pero honestly, ako po 'yung nagsabi na parang nasa ibang mundo na po siya at parang pakiramdam ko, inaantay niya lang na manggaling sa 'kin,” a distressed LJ told Boy.
LJ, along with her children Aki and Summer, are currently in New York as they move on with their lives without Paolo.

It was LJ's first time attending the glitzy event. She posted pictures and videos taken from the NYFW on her IG stories.
“My first #NYFW!!! and it was such an eye candy!!! And can't get over @gigihadid and these creations!” LJ wrote on her Instagram stories,” she wrote.

The photos offered the public a glimpse of LJ following her highly publicized separation with longtime partner, Paolo Contis.
