From thrift shop to the runway: How Heart Evangelista styled her ukay finds
Heart Evangelista is known for being decked to the nines with the latest fashion finds bearing the names of French fashion houses like Hermes, Chanel, and Dior.
But the fashion maven once put her skills to the test by going thrift shopping in the province of Sorsogon as a way to deal with her Fashion Week blues.
On her previous post, Heart said, “If you've seen my Instagram stories lately, then you'd know how much I'm missing Fashion Week.
“So, I decided to go on a little fashion quest and see treasures I could find here in Sorsogon.
“In this episode, you'll see me going around different thrift shops and ukay-ukay stalls and trying on my favorite finds, Fashion Week style [after we disinfected them, of course]!”

Green polka dot dress
For PhP 20, Heart Evangelista wore a green polka dot dress that goes up to her knee. She matched it with her favorite pair of Chanel goatskin slingbacks.
White top
Heart Evangelista picked an embroidered white top and styled them with jeans. She used a belt to serve as an accent to her plain top.

Never to miss an opportunity to wear her favorite combo, the Kapuso actress wore the same white embroidered top and wore a beige dress over it for an effortless look.
Floral dress
Heart chose a brown floral dress to accentuate Miss Sorsogon 2019 Maria Isabela Galeria's morena skin.
Twist
For a more modern flair, Heart repurposed a tweed skirt and placed it over a light blue top. To make the look more casual, she paired it with ripped jeans and added a Dior crossbody bag.
Sailor
Heart Evangelista went for a nautical look in this dark blue sailor top and paired it with her favorite jeans.
Cut
Heart embraced her chinita looks by going for a Chinese floral top and wore a pair of shorts that she cut herself. To top it off, she added a floral clutch to go alongside her oriental look.

Who said sheer outfits can't be classy? Heart wore a brown tube top and shorts and layered it with a sheer black dress. She capped off the look with her Hermes leather backpack.

Heart found this PhP 20 jacket (worn by Isabela) that is reminiscent of her favorite Balmain jacket.
