Mompreneur Neri Naig wanted to secure the future of his eldest son, Miggy Alfonso Miranda, by buying him a new condominium unit.
Neri, who is married to Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda, revealed last February 17 that they used Miggy's earnings from all his endorsements to purchase the property.
She posted on Instagram, “By March matatapos na ang Miggy's Condo! Yahoooooo! Since may mga endorsements na si Miggy, inipon ko ang money niya para makapag invest at mapagkakitaan pa rin.”
According to the former-actress-turned-businesswoman, they wanted to teach Miggy the important lesson of financial literacy and putting up his own business. They will actually rent out the condo unit and all earnings will go to Miggy's bank account.
Neri explained, “Para habang bata pa, may negosyo na siya. Tuturuan namin ang mga bata na maging financially literate. I think ayun ang dapat matutunan nating lahat kahit nung bata pa lang tayo eh. Pero it's not too late sa atin kahit anong edad pa tayo. Ang mahalaga, nagsisimula na tayo.”
The celebrity mom added, “Eto ang una niyang investment at negosyo. Diretso talaga sa bank account nya ang kikitain. Isang bedroom condo sa SMDC Grass, sa tabi lang ng SM North at Trinoma. Presell ko nakuha yung condo.
“After ilang years, buo nang nabayaran. Kaya excited na akong maparentahan, hehe! Para ipon ulit, next project naman sana, if may pasok sa budget.”
Aside from Miggy, the Miranda couple has a second son named Manuel Alfonso Miranda a.k.a Cash, who they welcomed in October 2021.
