Saab Magalona proudly shares Pancho's latest achievement
Despite his disability from being born prematurely, Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro's eldest son, Pancho, continue to defy the odds as he showcases a vast improvement in his development as a child.
On Sunday, March 21, Saab proudly shared that Pancho can now stand up on his own two feet without his parents' help.
“Tonight's miracle: Pancho pulling himself up and standing without our help,” she wrote in the caption.
“Let's all be reminded that each child has a certain path, and as parents, w are just there to guide them the best we can. #CerebralPalsyAwarenessMonth #DailyPancho.”
In the short video, Pancho is seen standing up by placing his arms around his mother.
After standing up, both Saab and Jim say, “Very good!”
Moved by Pancho's progress, many celebrities and fans congratulated the young Bacarro for his amazing feat.
Kapuso host Iya Villania wrote, “Oh em Saab! Nakakaiyak. Good job, Pancho!”
Meanwhile, Chynna Ortaleza added, “This is amazing. Great job, Pancho.”
Saab's mom, Pia Magalona, said, “Reading all the comments, and I'm overwhelmed. I love all the love here! Good job, Pancho and parents!”

In early 2020, Saab revealed details about Pancho's condition by stating that their doctor told her to “prepare because Pancho will have 100% have some form of disability.”
By the time he was a year old, Pancho could not make eye contact or follow objects with his eyes despite not having any problem with his eye structure.
Despite this, Pancho slowly showed cognitive and motor skills that exceeded Saab's expectations, including husband Jim and their doctors.
“He's made a number of his doctors cry,” the singer said.
A year later, their son continues to defy expectations, including pinpointing a guitar or calling out his parents' names when they're near.
“To find strength, love, and hope during such an uncertain time is the greatest testament to a God that will take care of us. So whatever you're going through right now, just believe,” Jim Bacarro said in one of his Instagram posts about Pancho.
