In an Instagram post, the Kara Mia star penned a message for her late mom, Carmen Muñiz-Villarroel, on her 23rd death anniversary.

"I truly never learned what the words I MISS YOU were until I reached for my mom's hand and it wasn't there," Carmina wrote.

"Mom you taught me almost everything except how to live without you. I really miss you mommy.

"How I wish I can hug you again and tell you how much I love you and that I am sorry for everything!"
