Lifestyle and travel blogger Dani Barretto intensely defended her husband Xavi Panlilio from the relentless comments of their bashers.

The couple is currently in Osaka, Japan for their honeymoon. Dani and Xavi tied the knot on April 23, 2019 at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati City.
In one of her Instagram post, a netizen called out the lifestyle blogger for lying, after Dani allegedly said that it is their first time to travel together.
Dani then clarified what she meant, “Never ako nag malinis. Kahit mag-back track ka pa ng posts ko, Xavi and I did travel together before.”
“My mom always had that rule, just like what I said in the video, “Pasaway lang talaga ako” until I realized she was right.”
“Ever since then, Xavi and I never traveled again. This Osaka trip is the first time we are traveling again.”
Meanwhile, another basher commented on Xavi Panlilio's Instagram page and accused the latter for not asking Dani's father, actor Kier Legaspi permission to marry her.
Netizen @loveyou20191983 posted, “Kapal ng mukha nitong lalaki. Dika man lang nagpaalam sa tatay.”
Dani Barretto quickly replied saying, “Mas makapal mukha mo mag-comment wala ka naman alam.”
