Habang nasa bakasyon ang pamilya ni Kris sa Japan, ikinuwento niya sa Instagram ang naging usapan nila ng kaniyang bunso patungkol sa paglalaro ng basketball.

Ani Kris, “He asked me tonight (i spent most of the day in bed asleep) if it was okay that he was naturally good in basketball? WHOA. Poor him to feel i'd feel bad about something he was good at.

“i promised him when we get home, he can choose all the sports he likes and he can immediately enroll in boxing & badminton BUT i think the firing range will have to wait until he's 18. About basketball, it's a team sport, so medyo mahirap apurahin & this is one instance where sensitivities have to be taken into careful consideration.

BIMB. He asked me tonight (i spent most of the day in bed asleep) if it was okay that he was naturally good in basketball? WHOA. Poor him to feel i'd feel bad about something he was good at. They went to Harajuku & Round 1 Spo-Cha (Bincai & i organized our stuff to send home & then went to Mass) and Bimb said he enjoyed badminton a lot, but scored highest in sharp shooting (and loved it) & boxing; BUT he was able to make a half court shot in basketball... time for this mama to grow up & be less dependent on her bunso. i promised him when we get home, he can choose all the sports he likes and he can immediately enroll in boxing & badminton BUT i think the firing range will have to wait until he's 18. About basketball, it's a team sport, so medyo mahirap apurahin & this is one instance where sensitivities have to be taken into careful consideration. I couldn't be happier that my 2 are experiencing so much & being regular kids during this trip. #family

Sa comment section naman ng Instagram page ng Queen of All Media, inisa-isa niya ang mga dahilan kung bakit may alinlangan siya sa pag-pursue ni Bimby ng basketball, lalo na't may 'high-expectations' ang mga tao, dahil anak siya ng PBA superstar na si James Yap.

Paliwanag ni Kris, “1st the high expectations because of all his dad achieved.”

“2nd kung intentional na sikuhin o sapakin siya, sasabunutan ko 'yung nanay nung gumawa.”
