Year in Review: First-time celebrity parents ngayong 2024
The year 2024 has given a lot of surprises--from celebrity engagements and breakups to relationship status updates and awards received. But what made the year better were the newborn babies welcomed into their families by some of the newest celebrity parents.
Maja Salvador and her non-showbiz husband, Rambo Nunez, gamer and cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao and husband Christopher Quiimbo, actors Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo, and Kapuso star Sef Cadayona and non-showbiz wife Nelan Vivero recently became first-time parents this year and will be celebrating their first holidays as parents.

Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez
Maja Salvador gave birth to her and Rambo Nuñez's first child, a daughter they named Maria in May. In September, they baptized her and revealed her full name to be Maria Reanna.
Baby Maria
In June, Maja Salvador shared a photo of her and Rambo Nuñez's hands cradling a baby's feet on Instagram. She wrote in the caption, "Our Maria. May 31, 2024."
Alodia Gosiengfiao, and Christopher Quimbo
On November 30, content creator and gamer Alodia Gosiengfiao and her husband, Cristopher Quimbo, announced on their YouTube channel that she had given birth to a baby boy.

Alodia and Christopher first announced their pregnancy on June 16 in a video on Instagram. They used a handheld gaming device to show off the sonogram of their baby.
Dominique Cojuangco and Michael Hearn
Internet personality and daughter of actress Gretchen Barretto Dominique Cojuangco and her husband, Michael Hearn, will spend the holidays as a family of three with their daughter Penelope Eloise.
Little Wiggler
Dominique gave birth to their daughter on May 29 and while it took a lot from her, she and Michael are delighted to welcome their "little wiggler."
Ria Atayde, Zanjoe Marudo
Riya Atayde gave birth to her and Zanjoe Marudo's baby boy on September 23. A video the actor posted on his social media accounts showed what appeared to be their baby being wheeled in a carrier.
Special Father's Day
Zanjoe received a very special Father's Day gift when Ria announced her pregnancy on the same day on Instagram.
Maxine Medina and Timmy Llana
Beauty queen and actress Maxine Medina gave birth to her and her husband, Timmy Llana's son, Timothy Mateus Ezekiel, last August.
Miracle
Maxine announced back in February that she and Timmy were having their first child only a few months since they tied the knot in October 2023.
Joyce Ching, Kevin Alimon
Sparkle actress Joyce Ching and her husband, Kevin Alimon welcomed their first child, a baby girl they nicknamed Hawhaw.
Little Hawhaw
Joyce and Kevin welcomed their Little Hawhaw on October 26. The Kapuso actress wrote in the caption of her post, "Our firstborn is finally here. We love you so much, our little Hawhaw. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us."
Sef Cadayona, Nelan Vivero
Pulang Araw and Forever Young star Sef Cadayona and wife Nelan Vivero welcomed their baby girl they called their 'Little Hermania.'
Little Hermania
Their 'Little Hermania,' whom they named Anya, was born on March 21. Before her arrival, Sef posted a series of photos on Instagram waiting at the hospital and admitted that he was nervous at the time.
Janine Tugonon
Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon and her partner welcomed their first baby girl. In an Instagram post, she shared that their baby will be getting her French passport.
Madeleine Sophia
Janine and her partner's daughter, Madeleine Sophia, were born in November through a c-section procedure but noted that she's been recovering greatly from it.
