Benedict Cua opens up about parental guilt
Benedict Cua is new to parenting but he's already going through the usual issues that parents face.
The content creator admitted to experiencing a dilemma between focusing on parenting or making time for himself, or parental guilt.
In a recent Instagram Story, Benedict posted a workout photo and shared his thoughts on his caption.
"In the past two months, I learned how important it is to allow yourself to rest and recharge.'
He continued to encourage parents to not feel guilty for taking time to rest.
"I know mom/dad guilt is real but neglecting rest leads to exhaustion. you're doing a good job! Resting doesn't define your ability to take care of your little one."
In May 2024, Benedict revealed that he is now a father to a baby boy named Aleck.
He narrated his journey to fatherhood in a YouTube vlog titled "My Life Story: Becoming a father," where he opened up about his upbringing as a Chinese raised in the Philippines, his corporate career prior to entertainment, going through depression, his rise to fame as a content creator, and becoming a father.
Meanwhile, here are photos of Benedict enjoying his time with his son Aleck:
