Two generations of Filipinos know who Benjie Paras is, whether from his 14-year-long basketball career or from his even longer three-decade-long career in the entertainment industry.
They don't just know Benjie Paras either. They also know his famous offspring - Andre and Kobe Paras, his sons from his first marriage to Jackie Forster. As they've grown up, Andre and Kobe have pursued the two different halves of Benjie's life. Kobe is currently playing for the Japanese team Niigata Albirex BB and also played for the UP Fighting Maroons like Benjie, while Andre has had a 13-year career as a star in the Kapuso Network, where he is currently part of the cast of Abot-Kamay na Pangarap.
But Benjie Paras' family extends beyond his famous sons. After his marriage with Jackie Forster ended, he went on to marry Lyxen Diomampo, a former preschool teacher and commercial model. This marriage produced two more sons, Riley and Sam, as well as his first daughter, Georgia.
