IN PHOTOS: Assunta de Rossi's motherhood journey with Baby Fiore
Actress Assunta de Rossi thrived in her first pregnancy and finally welcomed her baby girl Giulia Fiorentina Alessandra Schiavone Ledesma, her "miracle baby" with former Negros Occidental Congressman husband Jules Ledesma.
After suffering from health issues, Assunta came in terms with the fact that she might be able to give birth. However, things took a turn in March 2020 when she started experiencing pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, food aversions, dizziness, among others. A missed period was her biggest tell-tale sign. After an ultrasound and consultation with her OB-GYN, Assunta was told that she was indeed pregnant. She broke her big news on Instagram and said, "Getting pregnant the natural way with myoma and endometriosis [which I both have] is extremely difficult. Only medical intervention or a miracle can make it happen. This was a miracle!"
Despite health concerns and worries over the COVID-19 pandemic, Assunta gave birth to a healthy baby girl whom she fondly calls Baby Fiore. Take a look at her journey into motherhood so far.
Symptoms
After experiencing constipation, nausea, food aversions, and a missed period Assunta de Rossi finally had a doctor's appointment and an ultasound which confirmed she is pregnant.
Quarantine
She spent her first four months mostly at home, resting. Assunta was previously diagnosed with Myoma, which affects her ability to conceive naturally.

Assunta mentioned in a post on her Instagram that she teased her mother, Nenita Schiavone, that she'll recreate this painting with a similar pose, "I was gonna recreate this, but I'm afraid of mamma disowning me. At saka gurang na ako," she joked.
Alessandra de Rossi
Assunta spent some quality time with her younger sister Alessandra de Rossi when she paid her a visit post-quarantine.

Family
Assunta and husband Jules Ledesma welcome the sleepless nights that come with taking care of a newborn. They will happily do it for Baby Fiore.
Fun fact
Mommy Assunta mentioned in one of her Instagram posts that Baby Fiore was born two weeks earlier than the estimated due date of November 5.
