Before entering showbiz, Angela first completed her degree in Speech Communication at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Finishing her studies was one of her promises to her parents before pursuing a career in acting.
"Napapag-uusapan namin pero mas gusto ko and ng wife ko na si Lizzette na talagang maka-graduate siya, para, whatever happens, may fall back pa rin siya, may career pa rin siya na puwedeng gawin hindi lang sa showbiz," Jestoni said of his daughter's career choice.
She even graduated with honors which made Jestoni extra proud.
"So, natapos naman siya ng [Speech Communication] sa University of the Philippines and thank you, Lord, naging cum laude pa siya, so very proud of her," he expressed.
Angela looks up to her action star dad and hopes to be able to do an action-packed series.
"Dream project ko talaga ever since is maging parte ng isang action teleserye. Pwedeng-pwede ko magamit 'yung Taekwondo skills ko at martial arts," she said.
Angela has a blackbelt in Taekwondo and is part of her school's Taekwondo varsity team.
"At saka mahilig talaga ako sa sports kaya pwedeng-pwede ko rin magamit 'yung pagiging brusko ko sa mga action teleserye," she added.
She also hopes to be able to land challenging roles.
"At saka gusto ko rin mag-portray ng strong, adventurous, independent woman roles so hopefully magkaroon 'nun in the future," Angela shared.
