Cherry Pie Picache celebrates son's college graduation
Actress Cherry Pie Picache is beaming with pride after she shared that her son Nio Tria has finally graduated college.
Nio is Cherry Pie's son with Gary Tia. According to the actress's Instagram post, her son finished with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Legal Management.
In addition, Nio is a student athlete for Ateneo and helped the Katipunan-based school to a silver medal finish in the UAAP Season 86 Men's Tennis Tournament.
The versatile actress posted a short video clip of her son's graduation on Instagram and lauded him for all his sacrifices in balancing his studies and sports.
Cherry Pie wrote, “Yahoo!!!! Congratulations anak!!! Husay mo!!!!”
She continued, “Graduate!!! Bachelor of Science in Legal Management!!! Grabe!!! Ang sarap sarap sabihin at ang sarap sarap sa puso. I must have done something good to be blessed with a son like you. A student- athlete since prep. Difficult. Remember anak? Lots of homework, late nights. Nevertheless, excelled in both. Though more importantly, you never cease to amaze me every day as I continue to witness you grow into a human being who is kind, committed, empathetic, patient, stubborn in the right places, loving and God fearing.”
“Maraming maraming salamat anak!!! Truly I am thankful, grateful and a blessed mother. Continue to soar high into the real world my love and please know that Inay will always be, always be behind you all the way!!! To the moon and back and back again.

Nio replied to the heartwarming message of his mom and said, “Wouldn't be where I am now without you inay. I love you so much! This is our win!”
Several celebrities also congratulated Nio for this new milestone, including Widows' War actress Jackie Lou Blanco and Encantadia star Iza Calzado.
