Dominique Cojuangco is now a mom
Dominique Cojuangco is ending the month of May with a huge blessing after sharing the good news that she has given birth.
The only daughter of socialite and former actress Gretchen Barretto confirmed to the public in November 2023 that she and husband, Michael Hearn, are expecting a child.
Based on the photo Dominique uploaded on Instagram yesterday, May 29, they decided to name their precious baby Penelope Eloise.
In the caption, she then wrote, “A week of bliss… Five two-hour lipid IV drips and two-hundred and forty-two Heparin injections, but I've enjoyed every minute of my pregnancy. Michael and I are delighted to welcome our little wiggler from inside my womb.
“Thank you, Lord.”
Dom hinted on her post that she needed heparin injections during her pregnancy. According to medlineplus.gov, heparin is used to prevent blood clots from forming in people who have certain medical conditions or who are undergoing certain medical procedures that increase the chance that clots will form.
In the same article, it was also mentioned that it is also sometimes used alone or in combination with aspirin to prevent pregnancy loss and other problems in pregnant women who have certain medical conditions and who have experienced these problems in their earlier pregnancies.
Last March, Dominique marked her first wedding anniversary with Michael.
They tied the knot at the San Agustin Church in Manila and their grand reception was held at the National Museum of Natural History.
The couple announced their engagement in October 2021.
