In 2020, Kim announced in an interview that she wants to move on from her "sexy image," which captured the attention of many viewers back then.
She also shared that she wanted to focus more on showing off her acting skills as a comedienne-actress.
Kim said, “Noong time na nandoon ako sa sexy image, 'di ko masabi na ayoko na, parang nasu-suffocate ako, na ano ba gagawin ko?... Dumating ako sa point na 'yun na hindi ka na masaya sa isang bagay. Depende na rin talaga kung sobrang kailangan… Pero hindi katulad ng dati. 'Yun hindi ko na mababalik.”
Kim was part of GMA drama series 'Start-Up PH.'
Far from her previous roles, the actress played the character of Stephanie Rios, an intelligent lawyer who also wanted to become a web designer and a boss of her own company someday.
