GMA Network declares P1.459 B cash dividends

GMA Network’s Board of Directors approved the declaration of P1.459 billion total cash dividends or P0.30 per share, during a meeting held on June 8, 2020.

The dividend will be paid on July 15, 2020 to shareholders of record as of June 24, 2020.

Since becoming publicly listed, the Network has declared P5.56 total dividend per share and total dividends amounting P26.391 billion from 2008 to 2020. These are equivalent to an average of 90 percent of the Company's net income after tax year-on-year. Based on the historical dividend payout of the Company, dividend yield averages at 5 percent based on IPO price of P8.50.

The Kapuso Network, which also celebrates its 70th anniversary, is the largest TV network in the Philippines with a total of 52 stations and reaching over 80 million viewers all over the country.
