On May 13, GMA Network’s regional arm GMA Regional TV (RTV) delivers an extensive and nationwide coverage of Eleksyon 2019 thru its award-winning local newscasts all over the Philippines and via its official website www.gmaregionaltv.com.
For the first time, GMA RTV airs a live streaming coverage online to report on the latest in canvassing, the closing of the polls, other election-related news, and possible early proclamation of local winners on the evening of Election Day.
In North Central Luzon, know the latest about the country’s Midterm Elections in “RTV Balitang Amianan: The E19 Special Live Coverage” which begins airing at 5 p.m. via GMA TV 10 Dagupan, GMA TV 5 Ilocos Norte, GMA TV 48 Ilocos Sur, and GMA TV 7 Abra. Netizens, on the other hand, can stay updated thru the livestreaming of “Balitang Amianan Online Edition: The E19 Special Live Coverage” on the website from 8 p.m.
Hiligaynon newscast One Western Visayas takes Kapusong Negrense to where the action is in Western Visayas via “RTV One Western Visayas: The E19 Special Live Coverage” simulcast beginning 8:30 pm via GMA TV 6 Iloilo, GMA TV 13 Bacolod, GMA TV 2 Kalibo, GMA TV 10 Kanlandog, GMA TV 5 Roxas, GMA TV 10 Sipalay, and GMA TV 7 Tablas. “One Western Visayas Online Edition: The E19 Special Live Coverage” goes live from 8:30 p.m. on GMA RTV’s website.
Pioneering unified Mindanao newscast One Mindanao, on the other hand, reports the local elections in key cities and provinces in Northern, Central, and Southern Mindanao. “RTV One Mindanao: The E19 Special Live Coverage” can be accessed via GMA TV 5 Davao, GMA TV 35 Cagayan de Oro; GMA TV 8 General Santos City; GMA TV 2 Tandag City; GMA TV 3 Pagadian City; GMA TV 4 Dipolog City; GMA TV 5 Ozamiz City; GMA TV 9 Zamboanga City; GMA TV 10 Surigao City; GMA TV 11 Iligan City; GMA TV 12 Bukidnon; GMA TV 12 Cotabato City; GMA TV 12 Jolo, Sulo; and GMA TV 26 Butuan City. For the first time, as well, GMA RTV will have an election help desk located in various strategic areas all over the country: Balitang Amianan Studio in GMA Dagupan Station; Balitang Bisdak Studio in GMA Cebu Station; One Western Visayas Studio in GMA Iloilo Station; One Western Visayas Studio in GMA Bacolod Station; One Mindanao Studio in our GMA Davao Station; and another One Mindanao Studio in our GMA Cagayan de Oro Station. The help desk will be manned by student volunteers from GMA Regional TV’s E19 partner universities namely, Silliman University, Holy Cross of Davao College, University of San Carlos, West Visayas State University, Carlos Hilado Memorial State College, PHINMA University of Pangasinan, Capitol University, and Central Mindanao University.
