Several GMA Network executives were recognized by BizNews Asia (BNA), the country’s largest and most influential business and news magazine, during its 15th Anniversary celebration on November 25.

Several GMA Network executives were recognized by BizNews Asia (BNA), the country’s largest and most influential business and news magazine, during its 15th Anniversary celebration on November 25.

GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon was an awardee for Visionary Management Excellence, marking his third time to receive such recognition. Gozon was also a recipient of the Visionary Management Excellence Award in 2013 and 2015.

In 2011, Gozon was named Tycoon of the Decade by BNA and was bestowed the Platinum Business Icon Award in 2012 and the Entrepreneurship Excellence Award in 2014. Gozon was among BNA’s Power 100 from 2003 to 2010.

Other Kapuso officers recognized by BNA this year are GMA EVP and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong and RGMA (Radio GMA) President and GMA News Pillar Mike C. Enriquez.

Yalong, who was named ING-FINEX CFO of the Year for 2013, was a recipient of the BNA award for Financial Management. Meanwhile, Enriquez, a multi-awarded broadcast journalist, was the lone awardee for Broadcast Excellence. Enriquez was given the same distinction in 2014.

The awarding ceremony, led by BizNews Asia publisher Tony Lopez, was held at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.
