A fishing vessel caught fire while anchored at the Fish Port Complex in General Santos City.
The fire broke out at around 2:40 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024.
Firefighters were quick to respond and prevented the fire from spreading to other boats. The fire was put out at 4 p.m.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)- General Santos City, damage is estimated at around half a million pesos.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
Investigation was started to determine the cause of the fire.
