A 22-year-old woman drowned in a swimming pool at a resort in Barangay Igpit, Digos City on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
The victim’s father said the family and relatives were in a birthday celebration when the incident happened at around 2:30 p.m.
They rushed the victim to the hospital but she was declared dead on arrival.
In a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the victim has just given birth on June 11, 2024.
Based on initial investigation, no foul play was seen in the incident, based also on CCTV footage.
