The comedian first joked why he wouldn’t miss the concert because of his similarities with the Pambansang Bae.
“’Di ako puwede mawala dito, Alden, sa concert mo. Marami tayong connection na hindi mo alam. Of course, magkapatid tayo sa GMA Records. Magkasama tayo noon 'di ba? Galing akong Eat Bulaga. After Destined To Be Yours, Meant To Be,” he said.
He afterwards noted how their leading ladies are one letter apart—Maine (Mendoza) for Alden, and Mane (Reynes) for Janno.
On a more serious note, he shared about a personal encounter with Alden Richards that pleased his whole family.
“Parang ayaw mo ipakuwento ‘to pero ikukuwento ko na rin… My father-in-law passed away, and syempre malungkot yung mother-in-law ko. So tinanong ko siya [kung] ano yung makakapagpasaya sa kanya [at] isa lang sinabi niya. Makakapagpangiti lang sa kanya makita yung idol niya, si Alden Richards,” Janno shared.
Alden was quick to respond with the request.
“Tinawagan ko si Alden and he came. So, thank you. Napangiti mo yung mother-in-law ko kahit sandali… I’ll be forever thankful for that,” he told him and the audience.
Bing Loyzaga, Janno’s wife, posted a photo after the visit. She thanked the Kapuso actor-host ‘for putting a big smile on [her] mom’s face during the time of grief’ and noted how he is "truly deserving of all [his] blessings."
