Alden Richards to Maine Mendoza: "We're really stronger together… In-upsurge mo 'yung buhay ko"

Maine Mendoza was one of Alden Richards’ special guests in Upsurge, his first major solo concert held last night at the Kia Theatre.

In an audio-visual presentation played before their performance, Alden described how their individual strengths contribute to a more solid foundation.
“'Yung mga experiences namin, 'yung mga naransan naming together on and off cam, 'yun 'yung nagpapatibay sa amin up to this point. Marami kaming natututunan sa isa’t-isa, and natututunan sa mga bagay na nangyayari sa ‘min… and we’re really stronger together,” he said.
After they danced to "Unsteady" by the X Ambassadors and sang "Yellow" by Coldplay, Alden delivered his message to his leading lady in person.
“Basta, in-upsurge mo yung buhay ko, Maine. 'Yung buhay ko, nagulo in such a beautiful, glorious mess na ipinagpapasalamat ko habang nabubuhay ako… Saan man tayo makarating, tandaan mo—ako ang alon na babalik sa ‘yo. Maraming salamat na in this lifetime, nabago 'yung buhay ko ng isang Maine Mendoza. Thank you so much, Maine,” he added.
