Derrick Monasterio believes everything is falling into place with release of solo album

“Uy, boses ko ‘to.”

This is what Kapuso hunk and GMA Records artist Derrick Monasterio blurted upon hearing his song on the radio and Spotify, a statement encapsulating his surreal feeling following the release of his solo and self-titled album.

A thrilled Derrick Monasterio faced bloggers last Friday, narrating the scenarios leading to the launch of his album. He claimed he has long been waiting to finally have a project as a recording artist.

“Before magshowbiz, pangarap ko na [magkaroon ng] album,” he said.

Moreover, Derrick said he is proud and satisfied with the outcome of his album under GMA Records.

“Proud naman talaga kasi pag kumakanta po ako dati walang emotion eh. Ngayon feeling ko nalagay ko ‘yung emotion ko doon,” he shared, explaining how he has grown as an artist.

Derrick also believes things are finally falling into place, and he couldn’t be any more grateful and happier.

“I’ve never been this tired in my life. Nakakapagod din, alam niyo po ‘yung maraming ginagawa pero at the end of the day fulfilling naman,” he said.
