Janno Gibbs on his daughters entering showbiz

Oftentimes, children of celebrity couples are expected to follow after their parents’ footsteps and take on the world of showbiz. Will this be true for Alyssa and Gabby, the striking daughters of Janno Gibbs and Bing Loyzaga?

Oftentimes, children of celebrity couples are expected to follow after their parents’ footsteps and take on the world of showbiz.
Will this be true for Alyssa and Gabby, the striking daughters of GMA Records artist Janno Gibbs and actress Bing Loyzaga?
Janno, who has established himself both as an actor and a singer, see his daughters’ potentials and inclination in the same industry.
He recalled, “Si Alyssa alam naman natin from the movies before. Nung maliit kumakanta-kanta na siya kasama ko sa TV. Tuloy pa rin, she still sings.”

Then, he remarked about Gabby, “Happy ako sa bunso ko din kasi on her own nagst-start mag-aral ng gitara. Tapos she’s starting to compose. Ine-encourage ko na, ‘Sige, i-pursue mo ‘yan.’ Pinupush ko siya na wag niya i-take for granted. Maganda ‘yung ginagawa niya, ituloy-tuloy niya.”
However, the King of Soul believes it is ultimately his daughters' choice on which career to take.

“Sa akin okay lang naman. Pag tinatanong ko sila, they are willing. Pwedeng oo, pwedeng hindi. Nasa kanila ‘yun, it’s up to them kung type nila. Of course, pag ginusto nila pumasok, syempre support kami,” he said.
Alyssa co-founded the clothing line Neon Island with her friend, while Gabby, who is still in college, plays model for them. While the two ladies haven’t officially entered showbiz, they can be seen appearing on magazines and doing TV guestings.
Janno emphasized, “Mas gusto ko ‘yung ganun. They’re making a name for themselves, hindi dahil sa akin.”
