Rita Daniela inks contract with GMA Records

Rita Daniela proudly reveals a new achievement in her showbiz career as she signs a contract under GMA records for her self-titled album, Rita Daniela. Present in the contract signing is GMA Artist Center AVP for Imaging and Branding Mr. Simoun Ferrer, Mr. Rene Salta of GMA Records and Ms. Anna Puno, Rita’s Co-Manager.

 

The singer-to-watch-for reveals that she is ecstatic with her new project.

 

“Siyempre po sobrang happy kasi finally po mashi-share ko na sa lahat ng tao 'yung album na matagal ko ng hinintay kasi ever since po noong Popstar Kids, hinintay ko siya ng ganito katagal and finally ito na siya.”

 

Rita also disclosed that her album will show a different side of Rita. She said, “Yung album ko po, dance and R&B siya. And more of it, ito po talaga 'yung sound ko so tapos na po 'yung si Rita the Popstar Kid, 'yung sweet ganyan. So this time, si Rita Daniela, edgy and mature na siya. Ito talaga 'yung sound ni Rita.”

 

Rita Daniela will have six songs that will keep you dancing. Rita divulged that to use upbeat songs is actually the sound they’re leaning to for her album.

 

“Yes, definitely ‘yun po talaga 'yung balak namin. 'Yung most na songs ng album, puro siya instrumentals and fast songs ‘yun 'yung laman ng album.”

 

There were two composers who helped in Rita Daniela. “[Si] Toto Sorioso. Meron din po akong ginawang kanta kasama po siya doon sa album. Edmund Perlas po 'yung gumawa. Actually siya po 'yun. 'Yung single ko po ngayon, siya po nag-compose 'yung "Flying High”."

 

Rita Daniela will be released this April.
