V-League: NU volley-belles bring home individual awards

National University's Dindin Santiago bagged the Most Valuable Player award in the first conference of the 10th season of the 2013 Shakey's V-League competition, Thursday at the SM MOA Arena.

Santiago was also awarded the Best Scorer while Ateneo's Alyssa Valdez was awarded the Best Server.

Best Digger went to San Sebastian's Jaroensri Bualee, while Rubie De Leon of NU got the Best Setter award.

The Lady Bulldogs' Jen Reyes was named Best Server, while UST's Maika Ortiz got the Best Blocker award.

Best Attacker honors went to NU's Myla Pablo, while Most Improved Player honors went to Pamela Lastimosa of UST. - AMD, GMA News
