Filipino boxing champion, Senator Manny Pacquiao in Malaysia late Monday evening ahead of his WBA Welterweight championship fight against Argentine boxer Lucas Matthysse, scheduled on Sunday.

In a mustard yellow bomber jacket, Pacquiao walked the red carpet at Le Meridien Hotel lobby in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday for the Grand Arrival of Champions, and took photos with some officials including Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia Charles Jose, he also had interviews with the media.

In a report on Unang Balita on Tuesday, Mav Gonzalez said Pacquiao left General Santos City with a group of 200 people on a chartered flight, including his father and seven-year-old brother who will be watching Pacquiao from the hotel room.

A separate report on Balitanghali also said that Pacquiao was with her mother Dionisia Pacquiao at the red carpet, Mommy Dionisia also met her son's opponent Matthysse and even told her, "Thank you mommy."

The Pacquiao-Matthysse fight will be held on Sunday, July 15, at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and can be viewed on GMA 7.
