Clarkson grateful for, finally, being allowed to play for PHL in Asian Games
In a Facebook post early Wednesday morning (Manila time), Cleveland Cavaliers guard Jordan Clarkson showed his gratitude to everyone who worked towards allowing him to play for the Philippines in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.
Along with picture of his jerseys for the tourney, Clarkson wrote, "PUSO! My heart is full of gratitude for everyone who helped make this happen. See you all very soon!"
On Tuesday night, Asian Games chef de mission Richard Gomez said the Fil-Am player got clearance from the NBA to represent the Philippines for the Asiad.
The Philippine men's basketball team will play the Kazakhs on Thursday, August 16, and will face China on August 21. — BAP, GMA News
