Jordan Clarkson gets NBA clearance for Asian Games —Richard Gomez

Jordan Clarkson just might don the Philippine colors in the Asian Games basketball tournament in Indonesia.

The Philippines' chef de mission to the Games Richard Gomez said the Cleveland Cavaliers guard has gotten clearance from the NBA to suit up for the Philippine side coached by Yeng Guiao, days after he was initially disallowed by the league.

Super Radyo dzBB's Glenn Juego reported that travel arrangements for Clarkson is being set up.

Sports officials need to secure the approval of the Games' organizers in Indonesia for Clarkson to join the Philippine lineup.
