BTS’ V recovers from COVID-19
V has has finally recovered from COVID-19!
Bighit Music announced shared the BTS member’s health update on WeVerse Tuesday, saying V has recovered and has been released from self-quarantine.
“We would like to inform you that BTS member V has made a full recovery from COVID-19 and his quarantine has concluded as of today, February 22,” it said.
The agency said V had a slight fever when he first began treatment at home, but “has made a full recovery” and was “now able to return to his daily activities.”
Bighit conveyed their gratitude to fans who showed concern for the artist’s health, as well as “those in the medical field who are doing their best to overcome COVID-19.”
“We will continue to place the health of the artists as our top priority, and to vigilantly follow healthcare guidelines,” their statement concluded.
Bighit announced that V tested positive for COVID-19 last week, saying he visited the hospital on February 15 after experiencing a mild sore throat.
Early this month, BTS member Jimin was announced to have recovered from COVID-19. He also got discharged from the hospital after a surgery for acute appendicitis. — LA, GMA News
