Maria Ozawa's Pinoy boyfriend opens up about 'life-changing' relationship
Jose Sarasola made headlines recently as the man who captured the heart of Maria Ozawa.
In an exclusive interview on PEP.ph, Jose opened up about his romance with the Japanese former adult film star.
“It’s life-changing… I know medyo big words—life-changing. But it really is talaga, kasi she’s not just a regular girl. She’s really someone known in the whole world," he told PEP's Allan Sancon in an interview at his bar at Avenue 76, Aguirre St., BF Homes Paranaque.
“So it’s an adjustment for me and for her as well. But then, importante is we’re both happy.”
Jose said he met Maria at the bar when a friend brought her there. After hitting it off, they became closer through phone calls and texts, before seriously seeing each other toward the end of last year.
What made him fall for her?
“Siguro all her being super famous and everything siya, but behind everything, parang she’s a normal, funny, makulit na girl din siya. May pagka-Pinoy din siya kahit pa'no," he said.
“Although she’s Japanese-Canadian, may pagka-Filipino traits din siya. I think that’s what made it easier for me to like her more, na may pagka-Pinoy din siya, makulit din, kuwela. Hindi siya yung typical na Japanese na medyo... alam mo naman mga Japanese, medyo straightforward. Ito, may pagkakulit din, e," he added. —PEP
