Laura Lehmann’s advocacy enters finals of Miss World ‘Beauty With a Purpose’
Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann's advocacy made it to the finals of "Miss World's Beauty With a Purpose" challenge, the international beauty pageant announced Saturday.
Aside from the Philippines, four other bets made it to the finals. They are:
- Miss World - India
- Miss World - Indonesia
- Miss World - South Africa
- Miss World - Vietnam
Lehmann earlier this week revealed on her Instagram account that her project of a milk bank for the pediatric ward of a hospital in Manila, is among the top 20 contenders to win the segment of the competition.

The Miss World's Beauty with a Purpose competition highlights the charity projects the contestants are passionate about.
Lehmann, in a video about her advocacy, describes her five-year plan to help the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center with a focus on helping babies whose mothers do not produce enough milk, but who also cannot afford to buy pasteurized milk.
The Miss World 2017 coronation event will be held in Sanya, China on November 18.
